WORLD STUTTERING AWARENESS DAY....

Here's vedant and hope you are reading this blog with good health by the grace of God...! Today we are celebrating a very special day which is the world stuttering awareness day...
So let's began (cheers),
what is meant by stuttering?
NIDCD(national institute in deafness and other communication disorders) defines stuttering as, 'it is a speech disorder characterized by the repetition of sounds, syllables, or words; prolongation of sounds; and interruptions in speech'
Over 70 million people are suffering from this speech disorder and that is just one percent of the population across the globe ...
It is estimated that 11 to 12 million people in India stammering/stuttering and I too hold a place in one of them, I mean I use to be one of them...until got guidance from a speech Langauge pathologist through my parents...
Stuttering is just a disorder of speech due to something that might go wrong or any other thing also known as it is just a mental block. (this is what I use thought of it ). According to studies and various researchers we can say that it is caused due to the following reasons:
- Family History
- Demand Capacity Model
- Cerebral Dominance
- Environmental
- reading-writing-phonological problem
I would like to share an undersize road to get over stammering......and I hope you will like it ...
When I started stuttering I was just 10 and it was very mild but as I grow until now(14) it becomes more severe with me but as the therapy with the said dr. and within 6 sessions I have improves it to 60% and I'm damn sure that I will be improved to almost 100% therapy will be completed...
According to me, stammering can be fully cured by proper guidance from a specialist like the dr mentioned above
Mention that overcoming stammering is achievable and most beneficial of you overcome with 'smart' formula i.e. can be easily overcome in desired time but often needs practice and that is fine but sometimes crucial, especially when you are so-called lazy-bums
Practice is also kinda very important if you stammer, stammering is not just that you lag or gets block it is also kinda cool thing to discover for eg. in various roleplay we need such voice that needs to be a stutter, especially in cartons dubbing, etc.
here are some of the stutters whom we all know for eg. actor-Ritik Roshan, singer-Ed Sheeran, Megan Washington, King George VI, Jhon Rampton, me, etc.
Don't treat stuttering as an issue - work on it and get the treatment what you wanted, but don't ever treat it as an issue, don't see it as a plight of your life, and carry on pushing forward.....
